SHIBAN: Thanks again for meeting. We’re trying to nail down some realism for Season 2. Cigarette-smoking guys, secret experiments, shadow government… the works. So. What do you guys actually do?
AGENT FELDER: Officially? We monitor anomalous events with potential to destabilize the national consensus timeline.
SHIBAN: I’m sorry—what?
AGENT YU: He means UFOs. Big ones. Fast ones. Sometimes wet.
AGENT SINGH: And technically extradimensional, but our bosses say that confuses the narrative.
SHIBAN: So… they're not aliens?
AGENT YU: Not usually. We’ve found that most entities reported as “extraterrestrial” are actually projections from collapsed psycho-spiritual resonance fields.
AGENT FELDER: But you say “alien,” and the public nods. You say “resonant Seethe intrusion vector,” and you get tased by airport security. Believe us.
SHIBAN: (laughing nervously) Wait—so the Roswell thing?
AGENT SINGH: 100% real. Wrong state, though. We just let New Mexico have it for tourism.
SHIBAN: And Area 51?
AGENT FELDER: Exists. Just not for what you think. Mostly storage. Some experiments. And one very angry accordion that plays by itself.
SHIBAN: …accordion?
AGENT YU: It’s better if you don’t ask.
SHIBAN: Okay. Can you tell me about shadow programs? Black sites, cover-ups? Stuff we should know about?
AGENT FELDER: Oh sure. There’s Site 73, where the mirror sees you back twice.
AGENT SINGH: Site 12B has the well that hums Gregorian chants on Tuesdays.
AGENT YU: And Site 9 keeps something in a box labeled “DO NOT REMEMBER THIS.” But we forgot what it is.
SHIBAN: Are you screwing with me?
[ALL THREE AGENTS, SIMULTANEOUSLY:] Yes.
(long pause)
AGENT FELDER: …but also no.
SHIBAN: Look, we’re just trying to give our show a kernel of truth. You know? Government agencies hiding aliens, psychic experiments on kids, doors that open into nothing…
AGENT SINGH: That last one’s accurate.
AGENT YU: Doors into nothing are shockingly common.
AGENT FELDER: Tell your writers to focus on the emotional resonance. The fear, the belief—that’s the power source. The mind reacts to narrative just like reality. Sometimes instead of reality.
SHIBAN: So you’re saying people’s beliefs create these phenomena?
AGENT FELDER: I’m saying belief is a door. And sometimes it swings open both ways.
(leans closer)
You’re safer writing about little green men. Just saying.
SHIBAN: Right. Okay. So… last question. Is the truth really out there?
AGENT YU: No. It’s in here.
(taps his forehead)
But you won’t like it when it knocks.
AGENT SINGH: Or when it answers.

🧾 ADDENDUM (Internal D.C.B. Note)

Filed by: Agent Kelsey
Note: Interview successfully redirected all inquiries toward existing alien mythology. No mention of the Seethe, Red-class entities, or leyline collapses. FOX appears convinced we’re eccentric fanboys from a now-defunct “Defense Astrology Division.” Mission success.
Recommend sending Singh to therapy. He started drawing concentric eyes on all the diner napkins halfway through.
